Stick 69 Red Cedar Chief

This walking stick was hand carved from a single piece of wood out of Red Cedar. I carved this staff with an added hand grip. This beautiful wood is in its natural color, I didn’t add any wood stain to it. I only applied a clear coat of polyurethane.

A Warrior’s Solitude-Native American Walking Stick

I’m showing the carving of this walking stick and also a little venture out into the countryside to find historical evidence of the Native Americans.  Thanks for watching and I look forward to your comments!

Serpentine Stone Sculpture American Bison

I carved this buffalo from a solid serpentine rock.  I started working on it years ago and I decided to finish it.  I  enjoyed turning an ordinary rock into a piece of art.  Serpentine makes great sculptures.  It carves well,  polishes to a nice shine and there’s a mountain of it in my own backyard.
