Wildlife Painting of Chipmunks

Here’s a little painting of a couple of chipmunks in an Autumn Huckleberry Patch.  I really enjoyed painting this.  I love this time of year with the beautiful fall colors.

King Snake Walking Stick

I had a request for a San Diego Mountain King Snake Walking Stick.  It’s carved from a single piece of Lodgepole Pine and hand painted.

It’s been a busy year and a beautiful summer. Some of you already know, that I have been doing my best to grow my youtube channel with posts of my lifestyle and carving videos. Recently I  started a Facebook page and I am on Patreon, too.  I have met a lot of great people, online,  and really enjoy hearing from them.

Stick 69 Red Cedar Chief

This walking stick was hand carved from a single piece of wood out of Red Cedar. I carved this staff with an added hand grip. This beautiful wood is in its natural color, I didn’t add any wood stain to it. I only applied a clear coat of polyurethane.

Wild Roses Cane

My wife and I collaborated to make this intricately hand-carved walking cane.  Using my wife, Brenda’s design, I enjoyed roughing it out in relief.  She put the final details on it.   It features a relief carving of wild roses with their leaves and vines. It’s  is carved from a single piece of wood. The natural light color of the sapwood and darker tones of the heartwood were utilized to enhance the effects of this design. Only a high gloss polyurethane was applied and no stain was needed to bring out the beautiful grain in this piece. It is available in my shop on stinnettstudio.etsy.com.
